Vice President’s Report

 

Rusty would like to thank everyone for helping out with the demonstrations throughout the year.

 

Librarian’s Report

 

            No report.

 

Communications

           

            none

           

Old Business

 

            The remainder of the colored wood sold and unsold is available for delivery.

 

            Paul has the signup sheet for workers and turners for the fair.  Any help is appreciated.

           

            The July meeting will be at Pat DelMonte’s.  If you need directions, call 965-4372.  We look for a very enjoyable evening.

 

            There will be a barn session on Sept. 15, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.  The cost of the session will be $5.00 per person.  John Cave is the instructor.  He will be demonstrating lidded boxes.  Barb will have the sign up sheet in case there are any cancellations.

 

            There will be a beginners session @Barb’s Barn on the Sunday, August 25th.  Please let Barb know if you are interested.

 

            The Family Picnic will be held on August 22, at the St Bemus Reserve picnic shelter in Marilla.

 

New Business

 

            The Hillburger Award for Club II has been renamed the Hillburger Giving Tree Award was given to Ron Hudson.  We thank him for all his hard work and time given to the club and its members.

 

            Paul has been asked to set up a web site for the club.  He will be the Web Master.  It was moved, seconded and passed that Paul set everything and he was given funds to pay for the expense.

DEMO

 

            Paul Mazuchowski was tonights demonstration on door stops and kazoos.  It was very informative.  He made the process look easy.
