Business Items:  Jim Vasi opened meeting stating he has some gift certificates from Craft supplies and Tree Line that will be used as gifts at the annual picnic.  

Jim Shimwell noted we will distribute toys to the “Aspire” group on December 14th, 2004.  To date he has about 200 toys and is hoping we can have 300 to distribute. Jim is looking for members who will help distribute the toys on the 14th.  Please call him to let him know that you will help.

The January meeting will have election of officers.  Should you want to be part of the leadership, please let Jim Vasi, know.

 

Dues are due by the end of the January meeting. You can pay John Paulin at the January meeting.  Don’t forget.  We have eight people on the waiting list.

 

Show & Tell:  Norm Kosmerl – blocks & number board, Dan Hoffmann– pepper mill, John Paulin – Bowls with pearl beads, Kurt Hertzog – small earrings, hand cut twist turnings, rattles in lidded boxes, Thanks!

 

Demo:   Jim Robarr talked about using salvage materials, normalizing the materials and reshaping it into a knife or other chisels. Then you re-heat the new item and regain the hardness of quality steel.  Thanks Jim.

                  Pizza and pop was then shared by all.
