Business Items:  Jim Vasi opened meeting with news that Make-A-Wish has sent us a plaque thanking us for our donation. They also sent a note with a picture of the young girl who will be going to Disney World as a result of our donation.  Thanks to all the members who made items, and worked at the Erie County Fair.  Great job!

Jay Elliottt won $22 as part of the 50/50 raffle and drawing we had at the meeting.  The club treasury also got $22.

Jim Vasi stated there were 187 pens made at the “Pen-a-thon” and sent to our armed forces in Iraqi.

Jim Shimwell noted we will distribute toys to the “Aspire” group on December 14th, 2004.  Please make toys as soon as possible. Bring them to the December meeting. Jim has toy plans, if you need them. To date he has about 100 toys and is hoping we can have 300 by end of the December meeting. Jim is looking for members who will help distribute the toys on the 14th.  Please call him to let him know that you will help.

Bob Ball is doing fine after having foot surgery. Thanks to Debbie and Mike Hachey for taking care of the VCR tapes.

 

The January meeting will have election of officers.  Should you want to be part of the leadership, please let Jim Vasi, know.

 

Dues are due by the end of the January meeting. You can pay John Paulin at either the December or January meeting.  Don’t forget.  We have eight people on the waiting list.

 

Show & Tell:  Rob Meyer – segmented maple & walnut bowl, Jim Schnellinger – pepper mill, Muriel Kummer – Wedding goblet, Kurt Hertzog – Christmas ornaments, Thanks!

 

Auction:   The annual auction of members “stuff” to other members netted the Club $206.  thanks to all who donated their stuff.
