Jim Vasi reported Elmer Baumer is still very ill. Prayers are requested for his return to health.

After discussion Jim Vasi and Milt Enrenberg of the nominating committee reported the following members will be on the ballot for election to offices at the December meeting:

Barb Berger and Kurt Hertzog are scheduling a Woodturner class for Saturday December 7th, on how to make lidded boxes. Call Barb at 652-4156 to sign up.

Barb stated some members have called at the last minute to cancel causing problems, please honor your commitment.

Discussion regarding utility fee resulted in agreement that all participants would pay a fee, determined by Barb, for utility cost at time of class. About $5.00.

 Thanks to Tom Hurley for color-coding club equipment.

Club insurance premium has gone up to $437 for both clubs. We pay half or $218.50.

Bob Ball requests members return videos. He has 3 new ones.

Kurt requests photos for web site.

Eugene Schiaak requested the program for the next meeting be posted on the web site a minimum of 24 hours prior to the meeting time.

All members are requested to bring their donations of toys for our Christmas donation to the December meeting.

Show & Tell

Eugene Schiaak – X-mas ornaments, mortar & pestle pieces, hourglass piece

Bob Ball – pepper mill pink & ivory,

bud vase, wine stoppers & stick pens all made from Olive wood.

Jim Vasi – had a mini auction of misc items from Lyle Foell..

Eugen Schiaak informed all of the Christmas Art & Crafts Show, December 7 & 8, 2002 10 am to 4 pm, at Optimist Hall, Dorchester At Morrison across from Zehrs, Niagara Falls Canada.


Jim Vasi – showed members how to make tall candlestick holders and quickie papermate pens. Thanks Jim!
