Gary Jones advised us that Richard Mialki has resigned his position on the Fair committee effective for the 2013 season. This is a real loss for our committee as Richard was extremely active and a great resource for any help that was necessary. We all thank you Richard, for a great job well done! You will be missed.
2013 Dues are payable to our Treasurer Mr. Kosmerl by January 01, 2013. The fee is $20.00 per year for regular members. Please keep your dues up to date.
Gene Renzoni brought up that the Aspire School Christmas Party will be held on December 21st, at 0930 hours this year at the Aspire School on Union Road. We are looking for all kinds of toys and could use some doll cribs for the dolls donated by Mr. and Mrs. Becker and the S.E.F.C.U. Foundation. All are welcome to attend this party and help distribute the toys to the children. If you have any questions, contact Gene or the undersigned.
Jim Vasi reminded us that the election of Officers is January 2013. If you are interested in any of the positions please let us know. We still are looking for a Vice President, and I am sure some of our existing officers would like a break from holding their positions for several terms.
Show and Tell participants included:
The show and tell portion was given by Brianne Corbett, David Day, Jim Schnellinger, and Gary Jones. Thank you!
There was no Demo this month as it was our annual auction. A good time was had by all. Thank you for the donations!
We are always looking for members to do demonstrations or give us some ideas for our programs. If you would like to do a demo for us, have any new ideas, or are just interested in learning something specific, mention it to one of the Vice President’s committee members. I am sure that they will do their best to produce results. The committee members are: Jim Cunning, Paul Wilhelm, and Brian Young.
Our next meeting will be at the Maryvale High School Shop on Thursday November 1, 2012 at 1900 hours (7:00 pm.) sharp. The demo scheduled at the present time will be done by David Day, and will be on air brush painting. This should be a great and informative demo.
The December meeting will be our Christmas Party. Refreshments and snacks will be served.
