Business Items:                                                          with Make-A-Wish rep’s

Rich Mialki shared that the total collected for Make-A-Wish at the Fair is $17,024.  As a special honor the old Fair man himself Lyle Foell presented the check to Mary from Make-A-Wish. Mary then gave Lyle a “T” shirt from Make-A-Wish.  Rich again mentioned that there were 92 volunteers that worked at the fair from four (4) clubs.  He thanked all the members, their spouses, friends, and Make-A-Wish volunteers for making this year so successful.

SPECIAL THANK’S to Rich Mialki,  Bob Ball, Gary Jones, & Jim Hilburger. 

Mary from Make-A-Wish stated they will use $5,000 each for three (3) clients and put the balance toward granting a wish of a fourth client. See web site for information on the three recipients’.  Rich announced that Joe Mussari will join the club of four to help make the Fair 2011 another big success.  Thanks Joe.

 

 Jim Shimwell  reminds all it’s time to move on to TOYS FOR ASPIRE KIDS that we will give them in December.  Have you made your donation?  Do you need an idea?  Do you need wood?  Call Jim at 875-9654.

Show & Tell:    THANKS TO ALL WHO SHARE THEIR WORK WITH THE CLUB. Jim Schnellinger, Steve Imerese, Paul Wilhelm, Rich Mialki, Jim Hilburger, and Joe Mussari, this month.

 

Demo:  Jim Hilburger did a great job, showing us how he makes tops, wine stoppers, toothpick holders, refrigerator magnets, and pull chains.  Thanks Jim!!!

The ANNUAL AUCTION WILL BE THE OCTOBER MEETING (no show & tell or demo)

Bring your tools, books, wood that you don’t use or want and let the club sell it to others who think those items are great.  All monies go to the club treasury.
