Barb Berger is back Jim Hilburger & The Fair Norm Kosmerl & salad servers
-Rich Mialki explained how the Fair
works to the new people. No hard sell, talk & show special items such as
stool samples, snappers and tops. Point out copy of last years check and “All monies collected go to Make-A-Wish”.
Rich also stated Gary Jones has done a great job and he auctioned off a gavel
made by Frank Stanko for $500 that will go to Make-A-Wish. Bob Ball reported
that pre Fair sales of items has raised over $1,000 as of this date.
Jim Vasi demonstrated his expertise at the
Erie County Historical Society with Jim Hilburger and others.
-The
September meeting will be held in the Robert Binner Building at 777 Maryvale
Dr. in room 207.
-Paul Mazuchowski
is missing a
spindle gouge from when he did the demo. If you see it or know where it might
be, please contact Paul.

Joe Reimer of West Seneca, winner of the bowl donated for the fair, will accept it at the meeting. The demo has not been announced.
Fair Update:We, the four clubs raised $13,239 for
Make-A Wish in ‘09.
Previous totals are 01, $3,573, 02, $3,812, 03, $5,357, 04, $5,000, 05, $6,333, 06, $7,757, 07, $10,855,
08, $14,838 which totaled $57,525. Now with $13,239 for 09, our nine year total is $70,764.
