Business
Milt Ehrenberg inquired as to whether we should do a picnic next year
… all agreed YES, Milt will secure a date sometime in July 2004.
Jim Vasi is still working on book/video for Clarence Library in
memory of Elmer Baumer. He also has some air dried cherry half logs that were
donated to the club by Mrs. Baumer. Contact Jim if you want one.
Rockler Woodworking has donated a $200 LATHE DUPLICATOR to the club. After
discussion it was agreed to auction it off to anyone interested, minimum bid of
$100. See classified section of our website for details, or call Jim Vasi.
Rockler Woodworking has also donated a quantity of toy truck/car wheels
and axles, etc to be used for Christmas Toys for the UCP kids. See Jim Vasi if
you need some. Aakron Rule has donated a quantity of clear pine,
15”x4”x2” to be used for Christmas Toys for the UCP kids. See Joe Guppenberger
if you need some.
Lyle Foell sends his thanks for all who have signed up to
help at the Erie County Fair – August 7-17, 2003. We await his report at the next meeting.
Brian McIntosch’s effects will be
on sale Saturday September 20th, 9 am to 4 pm at 20 Whyte Ave.

the process of making a bird feeder using a turned top and base, 4 turned
spindles and a recycled 3 liter pop bottle for the transparent cylinder that
holds & displays the bird seed. Very clever, THANKS Rich!
