I think that this is a good time to take a minute to acknowledge and thank Mr. Mialki, and all our members who participate in the Make-A-Wish project at the Fair. It was the effort they put forth that enabled us to win the Minwax award this year.  Our President, officers, and each and every member should be very proud of our accomplishments for this service.  Thank you….

Show and Tell participants included:

The show and tell portion was given by:  Brianne Corbett, Joe Wiesnet, Michael Gotthelf, Frank Becker, Rich Mialki, Gary Jones, Ward Beaton, Richard Evans, and Paul Wilhelm. A gift certificate was awarded by random drawing to the members displaying items. There were a nice variety of turnings displayed.

Club Demonstration:

There were four demos this evening:  Brianne Corbett demonstrated the Cool Air Mask, Brian Effinger turning a weed pot, Jim Vasi turning bottle stoppers, and Rich Mialki turning stick pens.

Next Meeting/Demo:

There is no demonstration scheduled for this meeting, as it will be preparation for the Fair. Please remember to bring your donations for the Fair.  Refreshments will be served.

We are always looking for members to do demonstrations or give us some ideas for our programs.  If you would like to do a demo for us, have any new ideas, or are just interested in learning something specific, mention it to our Vice President, Joe Wiesnet or send me an e-mail and I will forward it to him for handling.

The meeting was concluded at 2115 hours.

I was on vacation, and not able to attend this meeting, but would like to thank Paul Wilhelm for taking the notes of the meeting for me.  Thanks Paul, you did a great job!

Respectfully submitted by,

J. A. Mussari
