The meeting was called to order 1910 hours by Richard Mialki.
The 50/50 club of $27.00 was drawn and awarded to Laura Schirle. Congrats Laura.

There were several guests present at this meeting. Eddie Blowers joined us from the Woodcarvers at the Fair Grounds, Rob Baird from Buffalo, and Joe Wiesnet from Depew. Also in attendance as a guest of Leon Nowicki was Don Richter. Welcome aboard Eddie, Rob, and Joe we hope you enjoy your membership! Don, please feel free to attend again if you wish.
We still have some outstanding delinquent dues. 2013 Dues were payable to our Treasurer Mr. Kosmerl by January 01, 2013. The fee is $20.00 per year for regular members. Please keep your dues up to date. Any members in the arrears will have their names removed from the new mailing list.
Richard Mialki and Bob Ball are still working on the insurance issue. He informed us that
our present policy that will be in effect until November is sufficient coverage for both the
members and the Maryvale School. We should have this resolved as far as the purchase of
a new or additional policy by the November date. He will keep us advised.
Mr. Vasi made the club a new safety shield for the school lathe when we are using it for our demos. Thanks Jim, you did a nice job as usual. Jim will also be ordering some Summer hats for the club members to purchase. They will be available at future meetings.
Rich Mialki said that the Craft Supply Company issued us 8 additional gift certificates to be used for the members who bring in items for the show and tell portion of the meeting. They will be distributed by the raffle system.

Please be advised that the Fair is scheduled to be operating from August 7th through the 18th. Mark your calendar books of these dates. We will have a new sign up sheet and more information at the next meeting.
Show and Tell participants included:
The show and tell portion was given by: Brianne Corbett, Mike Gotthelf, Richard Mialki, Larry Scaglione, Ward Beaton, Jim Vasi, Frank Becker, Dave Hall, David Day, Ray Bisonette, and Bruce Trojan our demonstrator. Thank you all! Your projects were great.
The Club demo was given by Bruce Trojan from Rochester. He did fine demo on the off set turning and enhancing bowls. Very informative and a great demo Bruce, thank you.
We are always looking for members to do demonstrations or give us some ideas for our programs. If you would like to do a demo for us, have any new ideas, or are just interested in learning something specific, mention it to Steve Imerese our Vice President. .
Our next meeting will be at the Maryvale High School Shop on Thursday May 02, 2013 at 1900 hours (7:00 pm.) sharp. There are two demos scheduled. Metod Alif who will do a metal hand plane, and John Cave who will do lidded boxes.
