Business Items:
Jim Vasi reported the club lathe that
was in Barb’s barn has been sold for $175. Jim & Steve are looking at a Jet
12-20 lathe to buy as a replacement. Approximate cost will be $450.
Ronn Tritto from Make-A-Wish was at the meeting and
again thanks all for our efforts.
Norm Kosmerl reminded all that dues are due
and those who have not paid by the end of the February meeting will be dropped
from the membership roll. PAY YOUR DUES
NOW!!!!!!!!! A new membership list will
come out in Feb.
Bob Ball announced that he has made
some DVD’s of our old VHS tapes and will be distributing a new list of items we
could view at home to help us turn more and different items.
Jim Shimwell thanked all who helped make
and deliver 550 toys to the Aspire Kids.
WELL DONE CLUB!
Jim Rupracht shared that the Pembroke
School is going thru some construction renovations and there will be no demo
programs until the fall of 2010 at the earliest. Steve Imerese is looking for some volunteers to take on the task
of putting together the next demo there.

Rich Mialki introduced Ms. Vanessa Campbell
of Uno’s who explain how we members can go to Uno’s, they keep track of what we
spend and then how they will donate 15% to 20% of what we spent to Make-A-Wish. Sounded great, however on Sunday 1/10/10
Uno’s shut down there Buffalo restaurant.

Demo: No demo, Uno’s provided food
tasting and all were great.
Next Meeting: Thursday February 4th, 2010, 7:30 PM at the
Maryvale School . The demo will be by John O'Neill who will be demonstrating
his invention, the clean turning tool.
