Jim Vasi presented the Jim Hilburger
Award for 2007 to Rich Mialki for
his outstanding service to the club.
Special thanks to Norm
Kosmerl, Bill Reedy, & Dave Laubricth
for selling $535 of items at the “Woodworkers
Show” that will be donated to “Make-A-Wish”.
Steve Imerese stated that the “Audubon Library Display” needed
shelves and after discussion it was agreed the club would buy and donate $50
worth of shelving. Due to these problems with the display area, the exhibit
will be in March 2008, postponed from the original November, 2007 date.
Jim Shimwell stated the Christmas
Toy distribution to the “Aspire
Kids” will be Wednesday, December
12, 2007. He has lots of patterns for toys for those who would like them.
Contact Jim at 875-9654. Please bring the toys you have made to
the December meeting.
Marwin Feldman has resigned as membership
vice president. We thank him for all he has done for the club thru the
years. Norman Kosmerl has agreed to be the new
membership vice president. Norm is
keeping a waiting list of those who would like to join our
club.
Dues are due for 2008, please
pay John Paulin at the December meeting or send your
check for $20 to him at

Demo: Jim Schnellinger gave a very detailed,
visual presentation of the wide variety of vacuum pumps and chucks that will
work on a lathe. Thanks Jim.
