Another of Bill Perry's Norfolk Island Pine turnings

The table with contributions for the school staff

Ann Raby was the lucky winner of the show and tell drawing

Lance Kanaby was the 50/50 raffle winner

Our featured demonstrator, Bob Rosand, gets the evening's demonstration started

Bob was going to demonstrate his lidded box turning, from beginning to end

Here is an example of what Bob was going to demonstrate

The Videomeister, Jim Hilburger, had the lathe setup with three cameras to show the various angles

There was a monitor set up high for those who couldn't sit up in the front

Bob starts with his stock glued to a glue block

This will be the bottom and he will hollow it from this end

We had a good crowd for the Rosand visit

Bob roughs the stock ...

and does some off the outside shaping

Bob intersperses his demo explanation with plenty of humorous stories

After shaping, Bob puts a center mark with a skew to aid with the drilling
