Gary Sanders did an interesting session on suspended boxes

Gary, a professional fire fighter, has created this signature piece

He shows some of the more difficult areas to turn

To prevent an interupted cut, Gary demonstrates a technique to attach waste blocks

These are attached with Ca glue to allow for a safer continuous cut

Here the block is attached to a faceplate

Bonnie Klein lends a hand with the video tasks

Gary's session was so popular that he had them standing in the doorway

The finished product is actually several turnings combined

There are several areas that cannot be reached with normal tools

Gary shows some of his specially ground tools

As ugly as it might look, this tool does the job required quite nicely

The progress on the demonstration piece so far

Gary shows the way the pieces attach

Here is the lower piece being created

Gary concludes by explaining the techniques for finishing the bottom
