The Turners 2 meeting was held on a 90+ degree day in Western NY |
The July meeting was hosted by Jed Donahue and luckily was in his air conditioned shop |
It was a smaller meeting with about 15 members attending |

Kurt Hertzog led off the show and tell with some recent pens and newly cast blanks material |
Jed was just unpacking from his recent show and broke into one of the crates for a show and tell item |

This recently done piece had been shown at the exhibit |
Known for his deep hollowings, Jed Donahue explains how he made the piece |
The night was set aside for craft show items so Jed gets started with the door stopper demo |
Doing quite a few of these, Jed has a cutting jig for separating them on the bandsaw |

Moving to the mini-Oneway, Jed starts the whistle demo |
He quickly finishes and does the painting |
Bottle stoppers are next on the list |
Again, quickly done and then the finish is applied |
