Turners 1 June '04 Meeting

It was a great early summers evening as the members gather for the June meeting

Jim Vasi opens the meeting with a moment of silence in memory of friend and member Lloyd Chrissman

There was a nice turnout for the meeting with about 45 members attending the meeting

Rich Mialki announces the upcoming Lockport turners demo with Linda Van Gehuchten

Linda will do an evening demo featuring her flying angel and a couple of days of hands on workshops

We had a nice variety of items for the show and tell

Eugen Schlaak leads off the show and tell after the business portion of the meeting

Eugen brought in quite an assortment of mushrooms and an interesting display technique

Marwin Feldman explains his technique for spicing up a piece of boring wood

Ron Mostel has been working on lidded boxes and new finishing techniques
