Turners 2 May Meeting

Rich Sarama gets the meeting started filling in for Ron Hudson

The evenings presentation was by Paul Mazuchowski

Paul was demonstrating his techniques for making turkey calls

A mounting block to hold the wood while turning

Paul has created a couple of simple jigs to aid with the turning and drilling process

He quickly creates the body of the turkey call

Paul sands it and adds the finish

Now he turns the decorative handle

After turning, it is sanded and finish is applied

The handle is drilled to accept the dowel

Paul did a great demo making a "no-kit" turkey call
