Turners 2 April Meeting

Jed Donahue shows his blank cutting fixture

It's purpose is to cut the raw blanks round, saving time and imbalance

Jed designed and built it, tailored for his band saw

It's even marked to show the diameter of the bowl being cut

It is adjustable (and lockable) to center the cut with the blade

And of course it's adjustable to cut tapered blanks

A better look at the tipping lock mechanism

Ed Jolls (Mgr. of the local Rockler) donated a new mini lathe to us
