Turners 2 April 2010 Meeting

Ron Hudson calls things to order

Rick Lawrence combined wood and corian for this bowl

Don Rust brought a segmented flower vase

Jeremiah Porter with his first bowl

John O'Neil turned some pickup magnets for the fair

John Walkden did the demo

He started off with a traditional 7mm pen

The finished product out of bubinga

The second project was a seam ripper

The blank is supported only on one end

This one was made out of laminated plywood

The third demo was a wine stopper

 

The basic shape is turned

After sanding a friction polish is used

A beautiful shape with a great finish
