The presentation for the evening was made by Paul Mazuchowski

Paul was showing his methods for fluting turnings

By using a die grinder with a sanding drum, different effects can be made on a variety of turnings

There was a good sized audience for Paul's demo

With a indexed headstock, flute spacing can be controlled for rotation

The depth is determined by the time and pressure of the sanding

The table can be adjusted to an angle and spiral effects can be made

Paul fielded questions at the end of a great demo
