Turners 2 January 2008 Meeting

The stock is mounted and the outside diameter of the napkin ring is turned

Once achieved, it is sanding in preparation for applying finish

The outside is completed, including finish while the stock is solid

With the outside done, the inside is hollowed using the appropriately sized Forstner bit

The drilling is done as deeply as needed for the first ring and then a bit

The inside is sanded, then finished, prior to parting the first ring off and the process is repeated

The first ring is completed

The ring being used with a pretty napkin, ready for the table setting
